It is the junior division of Kent College Canterbury, an all-through school to age 18, and is a member of the Methodist Independent Schools Trust. The Arts at Kent College Junior School, Canterbury

Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and two-thirds take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Two choirs, orchestra and several instrument ensembles. Regular winner/finalist in national choral competitions. There are some extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
