The Kerem School curriculum

School curriculum is a Modern Jewish Orthodox Curriculum (Kodesh) in the morning balanced with the secular National Curriculum (Chol) in the afternoon. Chol also includes PSHE, reasoning, Ivrit, French. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.

There are regular educational trips for all year groups, visiting speakers and a residential trip in Year 6. All year groups have one day of Forest School for six weeks.

Sport at Kerem School

School offers PE and up to 10 seasonal sports. Representative teams in major sports from Year 3.

The Arts at Kerem School

Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Drama is part of the co-curriculum. All pupils learn an instrument in class and some take extra-curricular instrument lessons. Choir, orchestra and one or two instrument ensembles. The school offers each pupil over 5 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.

Wraparound care

There is a breakfast club from 8.00am.
