Lockers Park School is an independent prep day and boarding school for boys between the ages of 4 and 13 years. Boarding from Year 3 for the 30% of pupils who board. 20% are full boarders and 80% are weekly or flexi boarders. It is a Church of England school, open to all faiths and none. The school has an academically selective admissions policy from Year 1. It is a standalone prep school, not tied to any one senior school. Lockers Park School fees range from £5,491 (Rec) to £8,717 per term (2025/26). Full boarding fees are £12,881 per term. Fees include VAT but exclude lunches.

The Lockers Park School curriculum

School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum and the ISEB Common Entrance curriculum with some additions and variations. It also includes critical thinking, PSHE, French, Latin. Optional Weekend Activities programme on Saturday mornings for Years 3 upwards for academic booster sessions, philosophy, creative writing, problem-solving exercises, art, and team building. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs. In recent years the school has enjoyed national tournament success in chess.

There are regular educational trips for all year groups, visiting speakers, Forest School for Early Years and residential trips from Year 7. Lockers Park has its own Scout troop, Cub pack and Beaver colony.

Specialist teachers for music, art, languages, computing, drama and sport throughout, and for most subjects from Year 5.

Sport at Lockers Park School

School offers over 15 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and extra-curriculum. Representative teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in athletics.

The Arts at Lockers Park School

Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and nearly all take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Two choirs, orchestra and four instrument ensembles. There are some extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
