St Neot’s School is an independent prep day school for boys and girls (50%/50%) between the ages of 2 and 13 years. It is a Church of England school, open to all faiths and none. The school has a non-selective admissions policy. It is a standalone prep school, not tied to any one senior school, and is a member of the Lord Wandsworth College group. St Neot’s School fees range from £4,485 (Rec) to £6,795 per term (2024/25). Fees exclude VAT and lunches.

Destinations for Year 8 St Neot’s School leavers are one of 35 different independent day and boarding schools. The St Neot's School curriculum

School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum and the ISEB Common Entrance curriculum with some additions and variations. It also includes PSHE, reasoning, philosophy, French, Spanish, Latin. In Years 7 and 8 the school teaches a more skills based curriculum, the Pre-Senior Baccalaureate, alongside some core ISEB curriculum subjects and/or senior school entrance curricula. The school offers each child a handful of extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.

There are regular educational trips for all year groups, visiting speakers and residential trips and sleepovers from Year 2. Forest School to Year 2. From Year 3 there is a structured outdoor learning programme every week that includes the St Neot’s Outdoor Learning Award (bushcraft, adventure, leadership skills), first aid, mountain biking and orienteering.

Specialist teaching

Specialist teachers for sport, music, computing and languages throughout, for art and science from Year 3, and for most subjects from Year 5.

Sport at St Neot's School

School offers over 20 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and an extensive extra-curriculum. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in judo.

The Arts at St Neot's School

Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and two-thirds take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Three choirs, orchestra and several instrument ensembles. Each pupil may participate in up to 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
