School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum and also includes PSHE, French, Spanish. Up to Year 3 the curriculum is taught through cross-curricular topics for science, history, geography, computing, RE and PSHE. The Quo Vadis Baccalaureate is a two-yearly award in Years 2, 4, 6 and 8 that encourages achievement across the broad curriculum. Each pupil may participate in over 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.

There are regular educational trips for all year groups, visiting speakers and camp-outs and residential trips from Year 3. Outdoor Learning is a weekly curricular activity for all year groups, involving ecology, horticulture, and bushcraft. The school has ‘Wilder School’ accreditation from the Hampshire and IOW Wildlife Trust.

Specialist teachers for sport, music, and languages throughout, for art from Year 1, for computing, food tech and drama from Year 4, for science from Year 5, and for all subjects from Year 6.

School offers over 15 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and extra-curriculum. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in swimming.
The Arts at Boundary Oak School, Prep and Pre-Prep
Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils, as is drama from Year 4. All pupils learn an instrument in class and about one third take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Choir and some instrument ensembles. Each pupil may participate in up to 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
