Farleigh School is an independent prep day and boarding school for boys and girls (50%/50%) between the ages of 3 and 13 years. Boarding from Year 3 for the 40% of pupils who board. 25% are full boarders and 75% are weekly or flexi boarders. It is a Roman Catholic school, open to all faiths and none. The school has a non-selective admissions policy. It is a standalone prep school, not tied to any one senior school. Farleigh School fees range from £5,600 (Rec) to £10,485 per term (2025/26). Full boarding fees range from £11,427 to £13,890 per term. Fees include VAT and lunches.

Farleigh School has two classes per year in pre-prep, rising to four or five in prep, and an average class size of 15 pupils.

The Farleigh School curriculum

Sport at Farleigh School

School is one of the 50 prep schools with the most extensive sports offers in the UK. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in athletics, judo, netball.

The Arts at Farleigh School

Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and two-thirds take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Two choirs and several instrument ensembles. The school is one of the top 50 UK prep schools for the breadth of its creative and performing arts extra-curriculum.
