The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.

There are regular educational trips for all year groups, visiting speakers and residential trips from Year 3. Forest School at least once a week throughout the school.

Specialist teachers for sport, music and computing throughout, for art and drama from Reception, for languages from Year 2, for DT from Year 3, and for all subjects from Year 5.

Sport at Holme Grange School, Prep & Pre-Prep

School offers over 15 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and extra-curriculum. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in basketball, rugby.

The Arts at Holme Grange School, Prep & Pre-Prep

Art, music, and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and half take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Two choirs, orchestra and several instrument ensembles. There are some extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
