The King's St Alban's curriculum

Sport at King's St Alban's

School offers over 15 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and extra-curriculum. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in athletics, sailing, swimming.

The Arts at King's St Alban's

School educates the choristers of Worcester Cathedral. Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Drama is part of the English and co-curriculum. All pupils learn an instrument in class and 80% take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Two choirs (as well as the choristers), orchestra and several instrument ensembles. Classes in Years 3 to 6 create and perform their own musical or dance piece in Creative ConneXions Week. Each pupil may participate in up to 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs. Artsmark Gold accreditation.
