Lochinver House School is an independent prep day school for boys between the ages of 3 and 13 years. The school will become co-ed to Year 2 from Sep 2025. It is a Christian school, open to all faiths and none. The school has an academically selective admissions policy. It is a standalone prep school and a member of the Haberdashers’ Elstree Schools group. Lochinver House School fees range from £5,985 (Rec) to £7,635 per term (2025/26). The Lochinver House School curriculum

School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum and the ISEB Common Entrance curriculum with some additions and variations. It also includes PSHEE, French, Latin. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.

Specialist teachers for sport, music, drama, and computing throughout, for languages, art, DT, and science from Year 3, for mythology from Year 4, and for all subjects from Year 5.

Sport at Lochinver House School

School offers between 10 and 15 different sports over the course of the year. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in basketball, football, swimming.

The Arts at Lochinver House School

Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and two-thirds take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Two choirs, orchestra and several instrument ensembles. Each pupil may participate in up to 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.

Wraparound care from 7.45am to 6.00pm. Minibus service.
