The St Philip's School curriculum

School curriculum follows the National Curriculum and the ISEB Common Entrance curriculum. It also includes PSHCE, French, Latin. The curriculum emphasises Catholic social morality. There are daily hymns, prayers, religious reflection, and communal worship. Boys are prepared for their First Holy Communion, First Confession, and Confirmation. The school offers each child a handful of extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.

Sport at St Philip's School

School offers between 10 and 15 different sports over the course of the year. Representative teams in major sports from Year 3.

The Arts at St Philip's School

Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Drama is part of the co-curriculum. All pupils learn an instrument in class and about a third take extra-curricular instrument lessons. Two choirs and one or two instrument ensembles. The School provides choristers for a weekly Mass at the Oratory Church in Brompton. There are some extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.

Wraparound care

There is no formal wraparound care. The school day is from 8.30am to 4.00pm, though clubs can extend the day from 8.00am to 5.30pm.
