Westminster Under School is an independent prep day school for boys between the ages of 7 and 13 years. From September 2026 it will open a pre-prep, and become co-ed starting with Reception, Year 3 and Year 7. It is a Church of England school, open to all faiths and none. Sport at Westminster Under School
School offers over 15 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and extra-curriculum. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in skiing.
The Arts at Westminster Under School
Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and nearly all take extra-curricular instrument lessons. Two choirs, two orchestras and several instrument ensembles. The choir has a strong track record in national choral competitions. There are some extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
Wraparound care
There is no formal wraparound care. The school day is from 8.00am to 4.00pm, though clubs can extend the day to 5.00pm.
